Our programme consists of the following levels:

Pre Kindergarten (4 year olds)

We provide a wholesome balance of quiet and energetic activities, both indoor and outdoor play, free choice activities as well as teacher directed activities. Alphabet and numerals, songs and rhymes are introduced to stimulate perceptual developments to prepare children for more formal learning. Children are encouraged to develop independent skills as well socializing with their peers. Children at this stage are exposed to hands on activities that aims to strengthen their fine and gross motor skills. English is our main medium of instruction therefore, in Pre Kindergarten level, we aim to converse to children mostly in English.

Kindergarten 1 (5 year olds) & Kindergarten 2 (6 year olds)

Children in Kindergarten 1 are introduced to specific subjects as a training for primary one.  This is the beginning of the two year preparation for primary one. Children start to learn another language which is Bahasa Malaysia. In Kindergarten 1 & 2 children's learning is divided into specific subjects such as : Maths, Science, Art & Craft, Social Studies, Health and Physical Exercise, Moral Education, and the languages.

We offer Mandarin subject as an additional subject for students who will be attending Chinese Primary schools.  Although we do follow a set syllabus, we also allow learning to take place at the child's learning ability and pace.  We want children to be happy in school and enjoy their learning. We believe that happy and confident students are faster learners! 

 

 

We are a Christian school and thus children are exposed to Bible stories as well as prayer.  We organise "YADAH TIMES" on special occasions.  This is a time when the whole school will gather together for a time of singing, games and learning about God. 

YEARLY SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

FAMILY SPORTS DAY

Every year the school will organise an Annual Family Sports Day sometime in the month of April or May.  It is at this event that parents are encouraged to participate along with their children for a day of fun and excitement.  

SCHOOL FIELD TRIP

Children will be taken on a Field Trip in the Second Semester of the schooling year.  Our field trip will usually be a trip made during the school hours. Parents are encouraged to join the trip depending on the location chosen.  However, due to the COVID situation, field trips have to take in some considerations on health safety and social distancing. 

GRADUATION CEREMONY

This graduation ceremony will be held at the end of the year.  Only children in Kindergarten 2 will be involved in this event as they will be leaving kindergarten to continue their education in Primary school.  Graduation Day will normally be held in October.
